Is Sponsoring A Dog Right For You?

Are you searching for the “perfect” dog? We must be honest with you – neither ourselves nor our doggies are perfect. However, if your goal is to save a life, then you have come to the right place!

Unlike larger organisations, we have the freedom to charge varying adoption fees for our rescue dogs. Some may wonder why we charge any fee at all, considering we are a charity. The answer is simple: owning a dog is a significant commitment. By charging a fee, we can ensure that our dogs will be properly cared for in their new homes.

As a modest family and friends rescue group, we cannot compete with the big charities. Our adoption fees and wages are our primary source of income, which goes towards covering the considerable costs associated with rescuing dogs. By the time a dog arrives in the UK, we have already spent an average of £700 on fostering in Romania, veterinary fees, microchipping, treatments, vaccinations, and more. Unfortunately, we often do not recoup our costs, especially for older or less conventionally cute dogs who may have spent a significant amount of time in our care. We do, however, adjust our fees accordingly for smaller, younger dogs. Just like in life, not all dogs are born equal.

We understand that everyone’s financial situation is unique, so we are open to negotiating the adoption fee for the right person or family. Our passion and dedication are not enough to save these innocent souls – we rely on the support and compassion of caring individuals like you who can offer loving homes to these dogs in need.

If you are ready to make a difference in a dog’s life, consider sponsoring a dog through Friends Indeed. Your support will help us continue our mission of saving and finding homes for these deserving animals. Together, we can make a real impact.
